Pirbright Art Club holds two main exhibitions each year. Our main "Annual" exhibition, in early December, and our Summer outdoor "Railings" exhibition at the end of July. We also now have an exhibition tent at the annual Pirbright Scarecrow Festival
PIRBRIGHT VILLAGE OPEN DAY & SCARECROW FESTIVAL
2012's Festival has been postponed due to the Queen's Diamond
Jubilee.
On June 11th, 2011, a selection of member's work was on display at
the annual "Pirbright Village Open Day"
("Scarecrow" day) held on Pirbright Green. Our many exhibits,
including the "Big Picture", cultivated much interest in the Club
and various sales were made on the day. The picture shows our very
own scarecrow and its creators!
RAILINGS EXHIBITION (2012 date July 28th)
The "Railings Exhibition", our annual outdoor exhibition and sale of
work, will take place on Saturday 28th July, 2012, outside Lord
Pirbright's Hall on Pirbright Green. The Exhibition is held in
conjunction with Pirbright Flower Show.
Our 2011 exhibition was a great success, with our usual fine and
varied display of drawings and paintings. These pictures are from
our previous "Railings" exhibitions.
ANNUAL EXHIBITION (2012 dates December 1st & 2nd)
Our Annual Exhibition took place over the weekend of December 3rd and 4th, 2011, at Lord Pirbright's Hall in Pirbright, Surrey. The exhibition was well attended, and our very enthusiastic members managed to sell a great number of original drawings, paintings and 'folios'.
